A method for recycling inkjet print heads which comprise a jet plate (11) on which are arranged jets (111) in two groups, with the jet plate fixed by using an adhesive material (21). The adhesive is placed at least through one part of the slot (112) under the jet plate (11), and by locating the adhesive over at least one part of the slot (112), a run of adhesive is formed and is raised relative to one surface of the jet plate (11). An independent claim is included for a recycled ink jet print head.
