PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-resistant protecting tube that can suppress the scattering of an object to be measured when it is used as a protecting pipe when measuring temperature by dipping into the high-temperature object to be measured, has improved heat resistance, heat insulation properties, and shock resistance, and further is made of a material having little influence to the human body.;SOLUTION: The heat-resistant protecting tube 1 is made of a material, where wollastonite or heat-resistance inorganic powder containing the wollastonite by 20 wt.% or higher is combined by using an additive that is 1.5 wt.% or higher and 15 wt.% or smaller. In the heat-resistant protecting pipe 1, a mixed material is produced by mixing the wollastonite or the heat-resistant inorganic power, the additive, an appropriate amount of water, or an organic agent. The mixed material is formed in a tubular shape to produce a tubular forming body, and the tubular forming body is dried for manufacturing the heat-resistant protective tube.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
