FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: method involves determining invasion depth, cancer cell differentiation degree in neoplasm bioptate, staining the bioptate with silver nitrate solution, determining mean number of nucleoli Mn in 100 nuclei adjacent to each other and standard deviation of argentophilic granules in the nucleoli SDag. 5 years long survival without cancer progress at any invasion depth is calculated as S=2.289*Mn+0.219*SDag+0.998*pT-0.102*G, where pT is the urinary bladder carcinoma cell invasion depth (pTa=1, pT1=2, pT2=3, pT3=4, pT4=5); G is the urinary bladder carcinoma cell differentiation degree (G1=1, G2=2, G3=3). S values being ≤6.95, 5 years long survival without cancer progress is to be predicted. Nucleoli distribution variation coefficient CVn and argentophilic granules distribution excess Eag in nucleoli are additionally determined. The 5 years long survival without cancer progress Spr=0.1727*CVn+0.3276* Eag. Spr value being 7.75, 5 years long survival is predicted.;EFFECT: high accuracy of the method.
