FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology.;SUBSTANCE: parameters of eye are measured during single-moment combined step-by-step iridoectomy for Mongoloid race patients suffering from closed-angled glaucoma. Initially the presence of dark-pigmented dense spongy structure of iris is determined and thickness of iris is measured at its root. If thickness of iris at its root equals to 0,54-0,59 mm then power of YAG laser at initial influence onto pre-root area at lower segment of iris is chosen to be equal of 1,5-2, mJ, number of pulses N=2-3, radiation power of YAG laser at subsequent radiation equals to 500-550 mJ, pulse duration equals to 0,15 s, diameter of radiation spot equals to 100 micrometers. Power of final influence of YAG laser belongs to interval of 1-2mJ and number of pulses N=2-3.;EFFECT: improved precision of measurement.;3 dwg
