Production of permanent integrated joints (2.3) between two oxide-dispersed metal components by welding involves: arranging the components (3.3, 4.3) to form an overlapping zone, heating to a temperature below the melting temperature, and welding to form at least a partial joint by diffusion (25.3); and heating the joint to a temperature below the melting point, and mechanical compaction. Independent claims are given for structural elements formed of the oxide-dispersed metal materials, including a guiding element for guiding glass melts and an assembly for glass melt homogenization.
