The equipment is for laying rails and sleepers for mobile cranes and involves a frame with at least two bearers (11) which extend next to the rail involved. The bearer inner clearance is less than the length of the sleepers (14) to be installed. Clamp devices are available, which fix the rail (13) on the frame, so that the sleepers at least pre-fitted on the rail locate on the under side of the longitudinal bearer. - The frame supports on the ground via height-adjustable uprights, in order that the frame, together with the rail fixed to it, together with the sleepers, is correctly aligned, so that the rail is in its correct alignment.
