A moulding tool for producing particulate foam mouldings comprises cooling channels and/or steam supply lines embedded in the wall of the tool. The steam supply lines are 0.5-10mm below the surface, while the cooling channels are 0.3-7mm below the surface. The moulding consists of copper and/or copper alloys and/or nickel and/or nickel alloys. Tempering media and/or steam are supplied to the channels. The steam nozzle channels are formed galvanically using meltable model inserts. Mechanical connection elements and/or media connections are formed using the galvanising process.
