The stabiliser upright coupling for a modular building frame has lugs (E) at its upper and lower ends to fit into the frame tubes of the building. The lugs and frame tubes are of square section. The lugs have spaced spherical recesses to receive the ends of fixing screws. The upright can carry treads for a stairway.
