The vehicle seat has a divided backrest (4) comprising of two sections which are hinged and can be independently set in upright operation position or non-usage position and locked with the use of center bearings (9). The backrest sections have cylindrical pins (12) that latch to the recesses (15) formed on a solid fitting (16), in which each recess has surface texture of 0.25 to 0.5 mm.
