The method involves binding two flexible material layers (14, 15) using an adhesive layer, which is applied on inner surfaces of the material layers. The material layers are pressed together by two mold parts (1, 2) that are movable relative to each other. The material layers are then discontinuously perforated. Adhesive (16) at outer-side of the material layers are pressed in the formed perforation holes. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) an apparatus for connecting two flexible material layers using an adhesive layer (B) a package with two flexible material layers.
