The locking of a screw joint of a screw nut (6) arranged on a threaded shaft of an axle (1). The axle has a locking shaft which is axially advanced to the threaded shaft. A longitudinal slot (8) is arranged on the outer boundary of the locking shaft. The screw nut is provided on its free end with a cylindrical locking collar (12).
