The method involves accelerating a projectile of a firearm once again by an injector cartridge (2) in a barrel (1) after it is being fired. The cartridge can be ignited electrically at a suitable time by the effect of projectile. The cartridge acts along the length of the barrel, at which the pressure of powder gases of the cartridge do not increase to a pressure beyond the maximum pressure in the barrel.
