The sealing arrangement of a piezoelectric actuator (16) for a fuel injection valve of an internal combustion engine comprises a liquid-tight element (32) which seals the protruding sections (30) of the connector pins (18) and the top surface of the head plate (20). Independent claims are also included for: (A) a fuel injector with a piezoelectric actuator and the proposed sealing arrangement for an internal combustion engine; (B) an application of a fuel injector in a fuel injection system integrated into the engine block of an internal combustion engine.
