The method involves segmenting the anatomical structure (3,6,7) from at least the first three-dimensional image data record of a sequence of three-dimensional image sequences that were recorded in a time sequence. Known anatomical relationships and results of the segmenting from a closely adjacent three-dimensional image data record are taken into account during segmenting of further three-dimensional image data records.
