Agent (A), for coating metal surfaces (which is hardenable by electromagnetic radiation (preferably infrared-/UV-radiation) and after hardening yields an electrical conductivity and welding corrosion protection coating), comprises a powder from an electrical conducting substance and organic bonding agent, which surrounds the powder in the form of coating. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a method of coating a metal surface of a construction unit comprising coating with an electrical conducting corrosion protection layer, where the coating results with help of an electrostatic powder dipping procedure, where as the coating agent (A) is used; and (2) a method of coating a metal surface of a construction unit comprising coating with an electrical conducting corrosion protection layer, where the coating results with the help of a dipping lacquer (cathodic dipping lacquer layer (KTL)), where as the coating agent (A) is used.
