The method involves describing the functional behavior of at least one subscriber with at least one subscriber functional model (5) that can be run by a computer unit at a defined run time point. The time behavior of the at least one subscriber is described by configurable time parameters derived from the time parameters of run time points for the model. The run time points for each computer unit are defined and the subscriber functional models are run by each respective computer unit at the defined run time points.
