The method involves selecting a sealing material from a self adhesive, chemical and temperature resistant sealing band, a central roll spring (6) and other roll spring. Outer and inner high pressure sealability, and chemical and temperature resistance sealability are achieved by the sealing band. The sealing band is made from a material resistant to liquid, dry and gaseous medium. An independent claim is also included for a sealing material for sealing holes and cracks in uncut cables and pipes.
