In in-line measuring apparatus (preferably through-flow apparatus) for measuring the flow of fluid in a tube, including a (preferably magneti-inductive or acoustic) measuring receiver with a measuring tube, internally coated with a liner, for guiding the fluid, the liner is of a polyurethane (I) prepared using an organometallic compound catalyst (II) which is incorporated in the liner with remaining metal chemically (specifically atomically) bonded to carbon chains formed in the liner. An independent claim is included for a method for producing the measuring tube, involving: (1) forming a liquid multi-component system based on a prepolymer, a (preferably dihydric) alcohol and an organometallic compound catalyst (II) (preferably containing a physiologically acceptable metal); (2) applying the system to the inner wall of a (preferably metallic) supporting tube forming part of the measuring tube; and (3) allowing the sytem to harden on the inner wall of the supporting tube, to form the liner internally coating the ready-for-use measuring tube.
