The injector jet (1), for an atmospheric gas burner, is of a flame protected thermoplastics. The gas flow zone is polygonal, a number of cylinder sections or an asymmetric shape to give a twist to the gas flow between the inflow (5) and gas outflow (6) on the jet axis (8). The jet shaft has zones with projections (2-4) to clip into the opening of the gas supply pipe.
