Hollow shaft (1) has the functional elements e.g. bush, gear wheel (2.1-2.n) with their internal edges fixed on the outer diameter of hollow shaft by hydroforming. The functional elements are axially connected and braced with the hollow shaft. The stub shafts are connected at the ends of the hollow shaft. An independent claim is also included for the method for the production of hollow shafts.
