Cosmetic, pharmaceutical or dermatological preparation comprises copolymer waxes comprising one or more alkyl structural units (a1) or (a2); optionally one or more acid structural units (a3)); and optionally one or more structural units (a4) (styrol, 3-methylstyrol, 4-methylstyrol or alpha -methylstyrol). Cosmetic, pharmaceutical or dermatological preparation (I) comprises one or more copolymer waxes (a) comprising one or more structural units of formula (-CH 2-CHR-) (a1), (-CH 2-C(R 2)(L)- (a2)); optionally one or more structural units of formula (-CH 2-C(R 1)(COOH)- (a3)); and optionally one or more structural units (a4) (styrol, 3-methylstyrol, 4-methylstyrol or alpha -methylstyrol).
