The eyeglass has a frame including spectacle rims (11) and two bow of spectacles (12). An illuminant (13) has an illumination path (131) extending over the frame section and electrically connected with an energy source (132). A one-piece retaining groove for receiving the path is provided in an inner wall of the frame, where the wall faces the spectacle wearer. Control electronics controls the luminosity of the illuminant.
