Flow representation method e.g. for magnet resonance picture, involves taking first and third magnetic resonance picture of object where flow in first and second direction in space is not compensated
The method involves taking a first and third magnetic resonance picture of an object, where the flow in a first and second direction in space is not compensated. A second and fourth magnetic resonance picture is made where the flow in the first and second direction in space is compensated. The phase of the pictures is calculated, and the phase difference of the first and second, third and fourth pictures are calculated which is a measure of flow along the first and second direction in space. A resulting flow rate vector is calculated by vectorial addition of the two flow components.
