The pressure valve assembly has a regulating piston which is pretensioned through a regulating spring (36) which is supported on a displacement piston (34) which defines a pressure chamber (32) which to displace the piston is loaded with a pressure which can be adjusted through a pilot pressure restricting valve (12) whose input is connected through a control line (6) to a control oil source. Once the pressure is set the pressure chamber can be shut off from the pressurised medium source through a shut-off valve (10). Independent claim describes clamping module with pressure valve assembly where the work line for supplying the clamping device with pressurised medium is connected to the control output of a pressure reducing valve (1).
