The trap is of a cylindrical shape (1) and closed at the back with the cylindrical bait compartment (3) serving as a plug. A short round bar (4) with a curved recess on top is attached transversally to the center of the pipe (1). The position of the pipe (1) can be adjusted with a weight (5) clipped to the appropriate spot at the upper area of the device. When the animal enters the trap (1) and accesses the bait compartment (3) the front of the trap is lifted and a flap (2) sliding in a slot (7) moved down in order to close the entrance.
