The center console (1) of a motor vehicle comprises a housing and a fan with a fan casing. Through the fan casing (20) an opening of a fan housing space (3) located at the bottom on the center console housing (10) in the installed position is closed at least in sections so that a blow-through chamber (4,4') is located between the center console housing and fan casing. Connected to the blow chamber are a delivery opening (25) of the fan's outlet duct (24) and at least one outlet duct (13,13') of the center console housing connected to air outlets of the center console.
