A rotor plate (1) for an open-end spinning machine has a radially-centered and stop surface (8)-supported carrier (2) and an insert (3) with a fiber sliding surface (5) and a fiber collection groove (6), the insert (3) and carrier (2) being riveted together. An independent claim is also included for production of plate (1) by producing from a plastically-deformable material a carrier (2) having a pot-shaped mating part (13) into which a pre-produced insert (3) is fixed by riveting.
