The end areas (8, 9) are arranged adjacently to each other and oriented and bent in the same direction; pressed together in a foam/injection-tight manner at a bar of a support (2) by a pressure against a wall defining the shape and position of the pressed end areas; merged with one another after inserting the thermoplastic films (3, 4) into the tool; bordered with a decorative strip before the inserting of the films; and arranged away from the cavity of the tool. The movable surface areas of the tool half (10) are area wise pressed together in the area of the cavity. The strip is arranged between the movable surface areas lying opposite to each other and bordered with the films. The support is arranged in the tool half and the bar is extended into the cavity of the tool. A sword is arranged in the tool half, in which the films are placed for production of a groove (7) within the interface area of the films. Independent claims are included for: (1) a tool; and (2) a construction unit.
