The method involves transferring a measured value from a measuring device (B`) to a requesting device (A) in a register process that is realized by a Bluetooth ``device discovery procedure``. The value is included in an identification field characterizing the device (B`) and realized by a Bluetooth ``device name`` field. An identity of the device (B`) is established such that the field is transmitted after finding the device (B`). An independent claim is also included for a system for wireless request of a measured value of a measuring device through a requesting device.
