The machining cell for processing the tooth flanks in particular of gears used in bevel units and for testing the wheel set encompasses a bevel gear milling device (1), a unit (2) for testing the rolling behavior of the bevel wheel, a laser writer (3), and a loading system (4) supported by a robot (6). All parts are interconnected and controlled in order to facilitate an automated milling, checking, and writing as well as a correction of the condition of the milling device in relation to the results of the test of the rolling behavior.
