The arrangement has a switching controller (Sr), where the arrangement is switched at a reference potential. A voltage divider is connected parallel to a load, and a branch of feedback of the controller is connected at a juncture (Vp) of the divider. The feedback branch is controlled such that a potential between the juncture of the voltage divider and a connection point (Ap) of the load is varied based on an output current. An independent claim is also included for a DC power supply with a switching arrangement.
