The device has a mechanical oscillating unit and a drive/receiving unit excites the oscillating unit based on an electrical excitation signal. The receiving unit receives oscillations from the oscillating unit and converts the oscillations into electrical reception signal. A phase difference exists between the excitation and reception signals and an all-pass filter is arranged in an electronic unit (3) for adjusting the difference.
