The injector has a piezoelectric actuator to actuate a nozzle needle via a pressure transmission unit (30). A temperature equalization unit (20) effects temperature equalization with respect to the actuator. The fuel is injected into a combustion space of an internal combustion engine based on the pressure in a control space. The unit (20) is associated at the side of the actuator, which is averted to the unit (30).
