The system has an interior bowl (1) and an outer shell (2). The outer shell is laterally arranged around the bowl and arranged above a pot lower surface and connected in a vertex range with the interior bowl, so that between them a circular, downward open cavity (4) is formed. The cavity is filled with preheated, non-lubricated air so that the pot is kept warm. The top margins are formed by interior bowl and outer shell to edges of a lip (3) and connected with one another. A cover (13) is pressed by a spring action underneath the outer shell and hooked by spring clips (5) against the pot.
