The web is led in such a way that after and before the transformations, the web lines running in longitudinal direction of the curved prismatic web run parallel to each other. Notches are fixed into the curved prismatic web by thermal effect on the closed cross section and are compressed. The thermal effect is carried out by blowing hot air into the notches. The web is led over form shoulders (1, 2), and the web of the form shoulder is supplied in the even condition and is taken from the other form shoulder with closed cross section. The web is supplied after the leaving of the transforming area of the form shoulder with the cross section formed by the form shoulder to the transforming area of the other form shoulder. An independent claim is included for a device for transformation of uniform web from flexible laminar material to closed hose cross section.
