An automotive brake system has two circuits linked by a so-called 'CS-valve'. If the onset of a skid is detected, the valve opens as pressure actively rises within the two brake circuits. The two circuits are linked either intermittently or continuously. The opening/closing action is regulated by an OHB-V system or intervention of an ACC unit.
