The device has delimitation edges (88,90) designed at a delimitation body that is positioned in a laser beam. The body is positioned in the laser beam in such a way that a central part of the laser beam does not influence the delimitation edges during diffraction of the laser beam at opposite delimitation edges. The four delimitation edges form a rectangular hole in the delimitation body. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a method for homogenizing a laser radiation; and (B) a system for producing homogeneous laser beam.
