A model is used to calculate an output temperature for a tested chilling roller stand (CRS) and a planned CRS by using values for a significant parameter valid for the tested and planned CRS. Output temperatures are compared for the tested and planned CRS. A belt wrap of a length of material (01) on chill rolls (02-06) is used as a variable parameter significant for refrigerating capacity.
