The method involves continuously producing a fiber tape (12) such that individual fibers (11) are controlled between a process step of individual fiber surface treatment and subsequent process step for the purpose of production of the fiber tape in a torsion free manner. The redirection of the fibers takes place during the torsion free control of the fibers by bending the fibers using guide rollers (15a, 15b).
