The electric motor consists of a slow-running motor (11), a fast-running auxiliary motor (12) arranged concentrically in the slow-running motor and a coupling element (15) between the motors' rotors (11R,12R). A first inner sleeve (19) carrying the winding of the fast motor and a second outer sleeve (20) carrying the winding of the slow motor are arranged concentrically. The coupling element is in the form of a coupling with spur gearing.
