Re-usable printing form (I) with a printing area (32), preferably for use in both wet- and dry offset printing, comprises printing area with at least a fluoridated phosphonic acid treated metallic oxide surface (36). Independent claims are also included for: (1) printing element comprising at least a re-usable printing form (30); (2) printing machine comprising at least one printing element; (3) a method for illustrating (I) comprising preparing a re-usable printing form with a printing area; producing a picture on the printing form by supplying energy in a selective point manner; and deleting the picture after printing on a printing material (preferably in an offset printing method) by supplying extensive energy; and (4) preparation of a fluoridated phosphonic acid, preferably for the treatment of a re-usable printing form comprising coupling an alkene bromide at monoalkyl-phosphite or dialkyl-phosphite to an alkene phosphonic acid alkyl ester, where the monoalkyl-phosphite or dialkyl-phosphite is deprotonated; coupling alkene phosphonic acid alkyl esters with iodinated fluorocarbon by reacting with an organic silver compound and a tin halide to a fluoridated phosphonic acid alkyl ester; deiodinating the fluoridated phosphonic acid alkyl esters with the help of an organic tin compounds; substituting fluoridated phosphonic acid alkyl esters by reaction with a halogenated organic silicon compounds to a fluoridated phosphonic acid (alkylsilyl)ester; and alcoholising the fluoridated phosphonic acid (alkylsilyl)ester to a fluoridated phosphonic acid.
