A cheaper and strong variety of wooden planks and sheets is produced by creating high stacks of crosswise positioned boards glued together and cut to size. The sauna (1) is assembled of modules (2, 3, 10) made of this specific material, preferably created of three layers, which can be particularly thick in order to serve as an integrated insulation. Outer and inner surface can be covered with ordinary planks or any other suitable material. The panels (2, 10) are joined with a tongue and groove connection.
