The press (1) has a pressing temple (3), a pressing table (2) and columns (4,5,6,7) which are actually hydraulic cylinders. The pressing temple can be adjusted vertically by means of columns. At the pressing temple and pressing table, a tool is arranged. A force producing device is also arranged at the pressing temple. An independent claim is also included for the press system.
