The carrier for bottles or cans comprises a receptor of a single block of solid polymer foam. The block comprises thick insulation walls incorporated with a thick base insulation layer and these are capable of bearing a load. There is a base plate in the bottom part and a carrier rod with a handle grip extends through the polymer foam block. The foam block has a round or rectangular cross-section. The vertical side walls of the block may have a convex curve. The insulation walls of the block are of thickness 20-30, preferably 25 mm and the spacing between the receptacle holes for the bottles or cans is 10-30 mm.
