Servo steering system for vehicle, selects output of one of rotor position inclusion sensors in brushless electric motor for servo steering control when another of sensors is judged to be operating abnormally
Two or more rotor position inclusion sensors (60-62) are installed in a three-phase, brushless electric motor. An abnormality control unit (70) receives the output signals from both inclusion sensors. When the output signal of either sensor is judged to be abnormal, the control unit selects and uses the output signal from the next sensor for servo steering control.
