The foil (1) has openings (1.1) provided over entire surface of the foil such that the foil is fragmented along straight lines across the entire length or width of the foil when a pulling force is applied. The openings are symmetric in longitudinal and transverse directions of the foil. The foil is fixed on an upper surface of a slatted roller blind to close joints of the blind when adjacent slats of the blind lie one over the other. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a slatted roller blind including a decor foil (B) a method for decorating a slatted roller blind.
