The transmission includes an input shaft (1), an input disc (2), an output disc (3), a power absorption roller and a hydraulic device. Fine grooves are formed respectively on the radial internal section of the inner extent surface of the input shaft and radial external section of the inner extent surface of the output shaft. Input torque is applied to the input shaft. The input disc and output disc are concentrically arranged and held pivotably through the input shaft in a condition in which the inner extent surface of the input disc faces the inner extent surface of the output disc. The power absorption roller is held between the input disc and the output disc. The hydraulic device generates a predetermined compressive force for pressing the power absorption roller.
