Fuel injecting device for e.g. four-cylinder diesel engine, has controller opening pressure reducing valve for certain period when actual pressure reaches threshold pressure, which is smaller than target pressure in common rail
The device has an electrical control unit regulating an actual pressure based on a difference between a reference pressure and the actual pressure in a common rail. A pressure reducing valve (5) is released by opening pressure in the rail to a lower pressure system. The controller opens the valve (5) for a certain period when the actual pressure reaches a threshold pressure, which is smaller than the target pressure in the common rail.
