Constructional or filling material produced from refuse by calcining to form ash, irradiating, grinding, mixing with synthetic resin-based binder, fractionating and molding

Production of a material (I) from refuse involves: (a) calcining the refuse to form ash; (b) treating the ash with ultraviolet and/or infrared radiation; (c) grinding the product; (d) mixing the obtained granulate with a binder containing a synthetic resin and a polymerization catalyst; (e) fractionating the mixture to give separate masses and pouring the masses into separate molds; and (f) cold molding the masses and curing by polymerization of the resin. An independent claim is included for the material (I) produced by the process and containing at least 60% ash obtained by calcination of refuse, the remainder being synthetic resin-based binder.
