The spirit-level is filled with a salt solution, which is obtained by mixing salts with liquid e.g. water, alcohol, ester, perfluoro decahydronaphtaline, having a specific weight of 1.3 kilogram per liter. The salt solution has a specific weight of 2.4 kilogram per liter. The salts are e.g. ammonium-cer-nitrate, antimony trichloride, barium per chlorate, calcium iodide, lead chlorate, potassium acetate, potassium molybdate. The salts are e.g. lead citrate, lead acetate, potassium hydrophosphate, potassium hydrophosphite, potassium vanadium sulphate, potassium nitrate, cobalt iodide, lithium polywolframate, lithium heteropolywolframate, rubidiumcarbonate, sodium monoboro tetrafluoride, sodium polywolframate, zinc bromide or zinc chloride.
